Ep14 - What's New This Year?

Kick off the new year with fresh HubSpot updates, practical client insights and strategies to optimize your tech stack for 2026.

The first HubHype episode of 2026 is here!

In this episode, Lisa Freitas and Erwin Arnold are back to help you start the year strong. They share the latest updates from HubSpot and Thalox, discuss how consolidating your tools can make a real difference in your daily workflow and offer practical insights from recent client work.

New HubSpot features that make a difference

Starting 2026 on the right foot means working smarter, not harder.

In this episode, Lisa and Erwin highlight some of the newest HubSpot updates designed to simplify your operations and improve efficiency:

  • Logic and Dependent Fields in Forms – You can now add logic to your HubSpot forms so that certain fields only appear when visitors select specific responses. This allows you to create dynamic, personalized forms that adapt based on how contacts answer previous questions, improving the overall form experience.

  • Branded Email Templates – Apply your Brand Kit to HubSpot's default marketing email templates instantly. No more manual customization—simply select your brand settings and create professional, on-brand emails in minutes.

  • Quote Custom PropertiesManage quote properties, just like you do with contacts, companies, and deals. Create custom properties to personalize quotes, enrich workflows, and improve reporting. You can now add rollup properties, sync data from associated objects and use quote properties as personalization tokens.

These updates may seem small on their own, but together they add up to significant improvements in how your teams work day-to-day.

Consolidating Tools: The HubSpot advantage

In this episode, Erwin shares key insights from a recent client workshop focused on one clear goal: consolidating scattered tools into HubSpot.

He explains how the session helped recognize redundancies and realize they could manage everything within HubSpot, removing the complexity of multiple disconnected systems.

Lisa adds an important perspective, emphasizing the need to regularly review integrations to control costs, since many of those tools replicate features already available natively in HubSpot. Her advice? Make integration audits a regular practice, not a one-time cleanup.

Ask yourself: "Is this tool giving us something HubSpot can't do?" If the answer is no, you might be wasting budget and adding unnecessary complexity to your operations.
