What are Thalox segments?
A Thalox segment is a type of segmentation used to create lists of contacts based on the thalox engagement score (TES). That means that you as a marketer do not have to care about the filter criteria – this is done by our thalox algorithm.
Thalox is providing three segments that could be pushed as a HubSpot list:
- High Engagers
- Dormant Potential
- Inactive or Indecisive

HubSpot lists are also a type of segmentation used to create targeted lists of contacts from a single source. Like thalox, it allows you to easily segment and target your contact lists based on criteria such as geography, job title, company size, and more.
In short, there is no difference between a Thalox segment and a HubSpot contact list. They are both segmentations used to create targeted lists of contacts based on certain criteria.

What is a Thalox segment?
A Thalox segment is a type of contact segmentation that uses the Thalox Engagement Score (TES) to automatically categorize contacts. The segmentation is done by the Thalox algorithm, so marketers don’t need to manually set filter criteria.
Are Thalox segments and HubSpot contact lists different?
No. They are essentially the same: both are tools for segmenting contacts to create targeted lists. The main difference is that Thalox segments are generated automatically based on the TES, while HubSpot lists can be manually created based on chosen criteria.
Can Thalox segments be used in HubSpot?
Yes. The three Thalox segments can be pushed directly into HubSpot as contact lists for further marketing automation and campaign targeting.
